International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The International Society for Exploring Teaching and Learning (ISETL) currently publishes the International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (ISSN 1812-9129). The IJTLHE provides a forum for the dissemination of knowledge focused on the improvement of higher education across all content areas and delivery domains. The audience of the IJTLHE includes higher education faculty, staff, administrators, researchers, and students who are interested in improving post-secondary instruction. The IJTLHE is distributed electronically to maximize its availability to diverse academic populations, both nationally and internationally.
ISETL has, over the past 20 years, produced three different publications. First, from 1988 until 2002, the ISETL publication was Connexions (ISSN 1551-7608), a non-refereed society newsletter. Then, from 2002 until 2004, ISETL published Explorations in Teaching and Learning (ISSN 1812-8661), a refereed/peer-reviewed magazine. Currently, ISETL is publishing a refereed/peer-reviewed online journal, the International Journal on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
The mission of the International Society for Exploring Teaching and Learning (ISETL) is to encourage the study of instruction and principles of learning in order to implement practical, effective methods of teaching and learning; promote the application, development, and evaluation of such methods; and foster the scholarship of teaching and learning among practicing post-secondary educators. As the journal of ISETL, the International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education supports this mission. Specifically, the journal’s focus includes the explanation, interpretation, application, and dissemination of higher education practitioners’ experience and research relevant to higher education instruction.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]
